If you think about it, a coloured Kryptonian might actually be stronger than a white Kryptonian on Earth. Their powers comes from them absorbing sunlight, and lighter colours would reflect light more than it absorbs it. A black Kryptonian might be able to absorb light better than a lighter skinned Kryptonian. Something to think about.

erinsuxx:

finally done the story of the “virgin” mary and her immaculate conception for my sequential art final.  very happy with how this came out/that it’s finished.

Also I want to point out, because a lot of people probably don’t know these quotes by heart or haven’t seen them in context, because it kind of looks like Alan has forgotten the next line and Jim says it for him, but that’s not the case.  The part where Alan pauses and stares blankly at Jim is actually part of the quote.  Homer is going back and forth with this shop-keeper, and he pauses and stares blankly because he doesn’t know what potassium benzoate is.  And the man answers for him, “that’s bad”.  They share an awkward moment and then Homer asks “can I go now?”, not sure if the conversation has appropriately ended.

Alan remembers the scene right down to the timing and everything.  The scene in the show is frikkin’ hilarious, but then R-SUG’ came along and re-purposed it into something where it has a completely different meaning and it’s HEARTBREAKING and I love it.

One of my favorite comics of all time, "Don’t cry for me, I’m already dead", by Rebecca Sugar.

Easily one of my favorite comics ever.

See that? Look at those sequence of panels and tell me that is anything less than than baller. If Stark or Wayne or Reed had done( and they probally have lets be real) some shit like this, you’d see posts for days with some shit like “CAN WE JUST TALK ABOUT THIS FOR A SECOND” 10k notes.
But people wanna call T’Challa a Marty Stu
Fuck out my face.

Wakanda has tech to make firearms useless..has had it for centuries. Let that shit sink in…let it marinate in your brain for a bit.

Black Excellence.

Go, T’Challa, go.

I really need this technology to be real and for the black community to have it
